Welcome to the Super Lew Web Site. I would like to take time to introduce you to my father, Lewis Douglas Williams. This site is meant as a dedication to him and his accomplishments in his prestigious harness racing/training career.
My father was the most successful African American in the sport and broke down many racial barriers. You will find on this site many of his career statistics.
I'm sure that there are many other African American athletes, artists, physicians etc. that have been overlooked by history. This is the story of one of them.
